Help files updated...
Both freeware 'Web Downloader' and 'File renamer' have been updated with a new format html (.chm) help file, as the older format (.hlp) file is slowly being made obsolete by Windows Vista... wassat

That's more or less the only changes made - and not an easy one if I may say so.

As always, everything - and more - can be downloaded for free from the freeware page.

'Agenda' freeware update - 1.0.2.6
And we have a new update to 'Agenda' freeware, up to version 1.0.2.6.

A few more improvements, and the 'Observation' field has been made a bit larger - 2 lines instead of only one - in order to show all text available for that field.

Thanks to all users that cared to send feedback about this freeware lately - it's always nice to know that I have happy users using my small utilities and liking it smile

Download this new version from the freeware page, as usual.

'Softwar Submitter' new update - 1.0.2.2
There is a new update available to 'Softwar Submit', the software to let software authors publish their work online across the internet, is now available.

This update is already available for quite a while, although it hasn't been announced here. What has really been updated now is the software database of submit sites, trimming a few old sites that have gone dead - or changed subject - keeping it updated. Still, the software keeps it's site database above the 350 items - and those are true sites to submit to, not just link sites nor anything like it.

You can, of course, download a trial version of this software from our webpage. This trial version has no limits, except for the fact that it only has a few sites available on it's list. To get the full database, you have to buy the full version of this software.

Server on and off ...
Our server has been on and off for the past week or so due to a small breakdown leading to the full rebuild of the web server - it was time already, as it had been up continuously for the past 7 (yes, seven) years... wink

Think everything is running ok now - thanks also to all users that cared to email us, pointing to some small glitches left and (hopefully) now corrected.

If anyone finds any problem with downloads - or anything else, for that matter - please don't hesitate in emailing me directly, as this will be most helpful.

Thanks, and sorry for any trouble you might have had downloading anything.

'Stock Control' software updated to v.1.0.3.8
The Industrial production and stocks control software got even better, and has been updated again, up to version 1.0.3.8.

It now shows a much better version of 'production planning', with selection of equipments for each product planed - and remembering last machine/resource used. And when pressing on the 'calculate' button, it will show a full plan sorted by machine, with start and end dates, and all the jobs scheduled.

You may download a demo of this software for testing. To get the full version, just check at it's web page for full details.

You will see this is now 'donationware', so you just have to donate a small amount - to keep me happy and motivated wink - and you will receive a full, no restrictions, copy of the software!

'Stock Control' software updated to v.1.0.3.7
And yet another update to production and stocks control software, up to version 1.0.3.7.

On shared configurations the use of decimals and dates could be compromised if, for instance, the database was created with a date and/or decimal format and another user, on a different computer, was using a different default for he(r)'s Windows date and/or decimal format.

To prevent this, another extensive change has been made, now always saving the database on a 'neutral' format and, on loading data into the program, the default date and decimal format configured on the user's computer will be used, irrespective of any other user's format on a different computer that is sharing the database.

This is also valid if, for instance, the user decides to change Windows configuration in the middle of work, making the data in the database truly portable now among different computers.

This change was made following an alert from some users. The change took a full day to complete and test, keeping the standard of service that our users got used to by now. wink

And, as always, if you have questions, suggestions or doubts, just email us or leave a note at our support blog.
